Default Alpha1 gen 2 prop seal?

Got some fishing line in mine and it tore the propshaft seal.Anyone had a seal replaced and about how much to replace it.I know then bearing carrier has to come out to repair.

I got the mechanical ability to repair i just done have the special tools (socket and puller)to do the job and IMO it may cost just as much or close to it to buy them vs getting it done.

I need to pull the lower anyways to replace my aging impeller too figured i might as well take it to have seals fixed?

if your going to pull the lower to do the impeller replace the seal carrier under the water pump plate if you were to bring the lower to us off the boat we would reseal it parts and labor 225.00 with a new impeller I know you can do it except for the special tools any questions call 928-855-7420 ask for Bart
