    Default drive height 27" dana

I have a 27' Dana that I don't think is living up to it's potential. the x-dimension is probably my first guess but I have no data to compare it to. how can I get a good guess as to where my drive height should be?

I rigged a few Dana's for Tom when he owned it. Most of the 27 footers where set at 19in.

Is that from the center of the output shaft to the bottom of the keel? I have the first 27 Dana made and I don't think they knew what the x dimension needed to be. I've heard of 60mph from my setup. but I don't come close to that. any help would be great.
