HAVING A TWIN OUTDRIVE SET-UP, WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OR DISADVANTAGE OF HAVING THE PROPS TURN 'in' OR 'out'. ? Currently my Bravo outdrives turn 'out'. I have noticed that most twin drives tun 'in'. I am wondering what the reasoning is for one or the other. Any comments on this issue are appreciated.
Depends on the hull, cat or V?
I don't know much about Vs, but on a cat turning in supposedly a couple mph faster, creates more stern lift but the boat is less stable than when turning out.
They say turning out is more stable in turns and will sort of self right its self if the boat lands tilted from some air.
