Default Transom Assembly Bolt for Alpha 1 Gen1

I have an older boat I bought last year, it ran great all summer and never appeared to have any water leaks. I took it out over Easter weekend and noticed when the boat sat for a while water would collect in the bilge. With the kids sitting on the swim step I started looking for the leak and found that one of the top bolts on the transom assembly were missing and that is where the water was coming into the boat. My question is the transom assembly treaded or do I need to remove the drive and gimbal to install a new bolt?

    Default water leak

pick up a calking tube of 3M 5200 fast cure
put a bead around the gimble housing
let it set for minimum of 8 to 12 hours then you
    can go boating.
    this stuff is really sticky
to smooth out the bead take some Dawn and put on your finger
    with a glove on
also what I have done is take painters blue tape and put around the
gimble housing and leave about 1/3 to 1/2 inch gap
and then after you smooth it you can remove the tape
you can go to WEST MARINE for the 5200
