I have a b max as well no water pump in them. The alpha drive has a pump but as far as I know your hi perf drives have no provisions for a pump..

Yes pull the prop and oil plug is behind it. Not trying to insult you but when you fill with oil fill from the bottom or the drain pug hole. You also want to remove the plug in the upper case housing. Mine takes just shy of 4 qts . It will take about 3 for it to come out the top plug then install plug and keep filling until you see it in you drive oil resovoir.. Yes it has the 6 bolts it uses a merc gimbal.. The top cap on mine has hydraulic arm mounts and needs to be removed to access the bolts or studs.
