    Default Bearing grease

For years I always used marine grease in my grease gun on all the zerks for the bearings and joints on my outdrive in my spectra. Recently I was talking to a gentleman that told me that is the worst grease to use. Which brings me to the question. I recently bought an advantage victory with a bravo one and I want to service the outdrive. I thought of switching over to a grease that we use on the farm. It is "Paragon 3000." It has done very well in machinery that is used in a rough environment to say the least. Do you guys have any opinions on grease selection or is Paragon 3000 a good choice to use? Thanks for any advice.

    Default grease

i just retired as a marine mechanic and the only grease we used was Scheaffer's grease
it does an excellent job and does not clay up like a lot of other grease's do.
we also used it as a spline grease and anything that needed grease.
also in your out drive only use merc. oil.
in the engine for more horse power and longer life use Scheaffer's racing oil
also add SEA FOAM to each fill up of gas because it takes care of the
fuel system and keeps it clean and also gets rid of the water that could be in
    the fuel.

I know the grease I was using never failed. Super Tech or Pennzoil . I always keep on top of greasing same as the wheel bearings.
