Default 5 blade vs 4 blade

Thinking of going from a 5 blade hi-five to a 4 blade. Boat is a 21'Essex (95) Open bow, Alpha-One 350 Chevy & wakeboard tower. No issues, boat performs very well, just curious if anyone has anything similiar and appreciate any comments/feedback.

I don't know what you are asking? If it performs well, no problems, why change? The 5 blade should be already out-performing a 4 blade, so ????

The High Five is a great all around propeller. It holds really well in turns and pulls skiers/wakeboarders really well. The four blade will be a little faster top end, but will not be as good everywhere else. With an Alpha/small block combination which four blade you pick is critical.

Stay with the 5. A GOOD 5 blade is better out of the hole, quicker, smoother and more efficient then a 4. It should also give you better fuel mileage as well in the cruising ranges. I think I am going to spring for a new Hill 5 blade signature prop on monday for my old man boat.
