Default 22 ft tunnel and arneson?

anyone know of a 21 or 22 ft tunnel style (daytona or similar) that has successfully ran an arneson drive ?

Will they work out of the hole in a drag racing deal?

Does a standard type outdrive ( like b max ) have any advantage on prop bite out of the hole compared to an arneson?

Check the strictly boating section, there is a thread in there right now about surface drives on single engine boats.

The Daytona is from an old eBay add a few years ago, it was located in San Antonio, Texas. The other is a 18' Donzi Classic called Mighty Mouse. I believe there is a website for it and is\was on the Arneson website.

Yes the boat did come from ca ,, the boat runs about 117-121 mph, depends on conditions and setup, the boat comes on plane with alot of slip and has too be muscled on plane ,, but after it rolls over it is fine , the boat has acceleration like a drag boat once on plane ,, the boat steers alot more responsive when trimmed down ,, but which it is trimmed it itake a entire turm of the sterr wheel too correct straitline track , the arneson when it is trimmed up is a much better ride than the bravo setup i have ,, but is suffers in steerabilty , but the acceleration from like 20 to 100 is nice,,, the big thing about the arneson that is soooooo nice , it never breaks , you can grind up a stump and still keep getting up ,, what i really like about the arneson is the damn rooster tail it throws behind it when it is trimmed ,, jetskikiller i call it ,, things that i dont like steer response , and how much muscle it takes too get on plane and prop cost , things i doo like , rooster tail, acceleration, it never ever breaks no matter how hard you hammer it , the pro that works best is a round ear speedmaster that has 5 blades done bt bblades, and a 4 ear sppedmaster done by bblades
