    Default # 3

I'm building a 24' Excalibur with about 800 hp and am looking for drive options.

...just wondering what could go wrong with a #3 drive that is not available?

I have a nice #3 in the garage, i'll sell for a resonable $ with the gimble. Only prob with these old drives, they leak from the prop shaft seal when the shaft starts to corode

Is this a result of poor anode design or negligence?

prob a mix of both. I leave my prop off on my #5 with grease. these drives were never intended to be left in the water over night

...Haven't forgotten about ya', just doing some research yet to see if I want to go this route, or go to a Bravo design...
