I am hearing numbers all over the place? What do these boats run with 900-950HP?

I all ways thought the HTMs where the fastest made but not sure now?

    Thank you Matt

    I think the 26 redlines is the fastest for a 26 ft cat.They run 90-95 with a 500 hp.

There was a 26 Daytona with a Teague 975hp in it. If I remember right it did 124mph. I think it was actually on Eliminator's website.

The hp525 efi was a comment on a earlier test boat they did with a other redline which ran 95 mph

This setup was on the different 26 redline with 675hp
    The 5600rpm 1.5 gear 36prop was with 675hp at 104mph.I ran it on prop calculator 20 %slip.

I know there is a guy on here that has a dynoed verified 1000-1020hp 26 redline that runs 130-132mph.

so your saying same gear as mine and almost the same HP.....and the same RPM.....are almost going the same speed .....but the Redline with less HP is turning a 36 prop....to go the same speed .....does that make any sense....how can a longer, heavier boat do that....maybe a smaller diameter prop.....

08 27 Daytona ICC. Teague 900. First pass off the trailer when new. It has run faster since then but I do not have a picture.

If you are asking who gone faster .then yes your right .If you are asking who has more efficient boat then i say 26 redline In my Opinion.I can guarantee it takes more then 1000 hp to make a htm go 146Mph. That or there is a shit load of 145 mph htm's at the lake To compare hulls you have to compare hp.Either way there both efficient fast hulls.

I didnt realize that 27 eliminator hulls where that fast!

My SS-24 with a very mild 950hp ~ Procharged motor went low 120's easily with a merc lab 30, an XR with 1.24 ratio at 6100 RPM on the chip. That boat with a 32 would easily go 126 +.
