Bravo 1 vs. Revolution 4

Looks like I might have found a boat for the family to play in. It's a bank repo, 24' non-vented deep V. mild 454 Bravo 1. It has no prop. So, I will be in need of a prop soon. I'm test driving the boat tomorrow am at Elsinore with a borrowed Bravo1 24 pitch off my brothers 24 Nu era Lavey. He has the 502 mag and runs right at or above 70mph before it hits the limiter.
If I'm buying a new prop, what are the differences between the Bravo and Revolution?
I don't plan on towing any skier/wakeboarders, maybe an occasional tube. Looking more for mid to high rpm performance.
Thanks....

The Bravo I will be your best choice. The Bravo I has a little more blade surface area and will have a little less slip which will help your boat. Without the steps it will require more bite to move the boat.
I think the 24 might be a bit tall for the 454. If you find that it wont quite pull a 22 Bravo I, then the Rev 4 will be the next best choice.

Went out on Elsinore this morning at first light. Ran the boat and found out that this is NOT the boat for me.
It was very unstable, was hard to keep from porpoising at low speeds, 20-30mph. Cruised pretty good at 40-45mph as long as the trim tabs were perfectly set. Any movement of the tabs or a shift in weight from side to side caused the boat to chine over to a very very uncomfortable angle. It would stay there until the tabs were re adjusted or the weight was moved back over. At WOT the boat ran 74mph (gps) at 5000rpm. Trimmed out on glass it would start a small oscillation that would progressively get worse until you trimmed down, then it would start a bow steer that scared all 3 of us.
Looks like I'm back in the market...

I like the length but don't like the height. I still like to sit when I drive and be able to grab the dock and feel the water spray over my hand.
Actively searching for a 21 Hallett Spectra or a Cole super/nighthawk. Been talking with a couple people here about their boats. I'm in the "up to" $18,000 range.
