    Default Prop or gear change

    I am spinning a 1:50 gear with a 32 prop....adding about a 100 HP.....should i stay with the same gear and maybe go to a 34 prop.... or change the gear to a 1:35..
    Any suggestions....thanks

You are very near the practical, efficient, pitch, "Happy Point"(usually with a Bravo this is from 30-34"). If this is as far as you are planning to go HP wise, then stick with what you have with the gears, and just prop it. If you feel that you will probably step on the HP again, I would change the gears to the 1.35s or even less depending on Horsepower additions. TIMINATOR
