Default Bravo 3 / Sea Core Cooling flush question after a salt run:

On the 2011 502 Merc with Bravo 3 seems to me the water just flows through to the heat ex-changer and back out.

If the separate closed loop, thermostat regulated, glycol system is cooling the engine,, should I really have to wait for the engines to warm or even have to run it to flush it?
Some disagreement at the dealer with the Sea Core over this anywhere from don't need to even flush it, to run water only,,, to run the engine until it warms up and flush

    So my question is WTF?

Yes you still need to flush it. The heat exchanger and riser pipes will still see water from what ever body of water you are running in.
