Default Wanted: BBF 460 for jet boat

Looking for a good running BBF for my 19' jet boat.
Not in a hurry, just planning ahead for next summer.
Don't need anything too insane, just want to do 60mph and have some fun.
    I am in Modesto.
    Whatcha' got?
100 years from now, none of this will matter.

What block and heads does it have?
Do you know the build specs, or who built it?
    The more details the better.

not sure about it, you can come check it out, it is right off Waterloo rd & 99 in Stockton, he told me a shop here in town built it, that was all he knew about it, he bought it from his uncle, then found out that it was more work to get the rest of the boat in condition to use, I pulled a valve cover off and it is real clean, the oil is fresh in it, it was never finished being hooked up, I bought it to install the engine in my Mustang, but I am going to reinstall the 390 back in it instead.

I've got a Kodiak Marine 460. I bought it as a runner with heads/intake off. I have the Kodiak center riser alum exhaust also with some welds on them. Factory forged flat tops, fully grooved main bearings, "special" marine valve springs/cups/retainers, cast iron Super Cobra Jet intake, SCJ 216/220 cam, D6VE-AA truck/CJ rods, E6TE heads with hard seats, real world 9:1 compression. For a bit more bang for your buck, its recommended to get a "non retarded" timing chain set (89 and up F250 FI 460 set . I'd take 600.00/offer for it. You'd need a carb and to put the heads/intake back on. I'm in Chico, 100 miles of Sacto.

Is it internally or ext balanced?
My mounts wont allow an ext balancer(hatchet looking thing)

Hmmm, I guess it is externally balanced as it does have the hatchet blade looking thing behind the balancer. It does have the traditional front engine mounts on it that bolt to the factory block mounting location and then bolt to the top/sides of the engine stringers. This gives some up/down adjustability along with side to side. You'd also see this style front mount on a tournament style inboard ski boat.

My Hardin mounts wont allow room for the ext balancer.
I might be interested if you have the front mounting plate for it.

I'll look to see if I have a front mount kicking around. Otherwise, could you use the current mounts on my engine instead of the Hardin unit?

I don't know what you have.
I have either harman or hardin.
    I forget which.
It's been a while since I have even looked at the thing. lol..
    Typical stringer mounts.
The front opening is too small for an ext balancer.

I'll get some pics posted later today of the engine with the mounts that I'm talking about.

Here are some pics of the front mounts on the Kodiak 460. They top mount to the engine stringer.
