Cool Borg Warner Velvet Drive Model 72 (San Francisco Bay Area--Can Deliver to SoCal)

    SCRAPPED

The history and condition if this Velvet Drive are unknown. The Forward-Neutral-Reverse lever moves freely, and when the input shaft is turned by hand the output shaft turns and the bearings feel great...BUT...

...regardless of which postion the transmission selector is in, the output shaft always spins--even when the transmission is in neutral. It is entirely possible that the clutch discs are simply stuck together (from sitting so long) and need to be freed; it is also possible that the trans is a blown up pile of junk.

Accepting offers until Tuesday, November 26, 2012 at 7 pm. After that it goes to the scrapper with our end-of-year truckload of scrap metals. I reserve the right to decide whether you get the trans for your cash offer or the scrap man does for his. For an additional $25, I can deliver as far north as Sacramento, as far south as Long Beach, as far west as the Pacific Ocean, and a far east as Highway 99. We will ship this item for actual shipping charges from 95054 zip code to yours, I'm estimating about 90 pound ship weight.

    Call or PM if interested.
