    Default WTB 12 degree Strut

    Looking for a 12 degree prop shaft strut. Its going in a Hondo ski hydro.

    Because the strut that came with the boat doesnt fit. And after looking at the numbers on the casale its a 12 degree box.

    you dont want a twelve degree strut myabe 8 or 9 but not 12

    But putting a strut other than what the gearbox is isnt good right?

    The strut should be a 8 - 9 degree strut for that boat. You put the strut in first. Then line up the bottom shaft of the V-Drive with the prop shaft. You rotate the the V-Drrive to get the right angle to the prop shaft. The 12 degree box will put a steeper angle when positioning the proper motor placement. A 10 degree V-Drive Would have a flatter angle & was probably the original V-Drive for that boat. This is a very important part of the way the boat will handle. This should be done by a person with knowledge & skill. I have a used 8 1/2 degree strut if you are interested. I hope this helps your direction. Personal Message me if you have any questions.
