    Default Help!!!

I know it's not the thread to post questions, but parts are shipped out from here daily, so I figure you all would be knowledgable the best way, due to experience!!!

best way to ship headers??! As in most convenient and economical way!?

    ups? FedEx? USPS? Freight company?

I wanna get this guy the best rate, so please any help is best.

Have you shipped headers before? If so, who did you use? What was the cost?! I'm in the 74110 area code. Shipping to 15765 area possibly.

Ive only shipped smaller items through USPS before, so any info is appreciated.

    Default shipping

ive always had the best luck with price from fedex. im in nc and ship a lot to ca and from ca. I have shipped headers, logs, blowers, ect thru fedex that far. only time I use freight is it if is over 150lbs. and sometimes if I can break it down and put in two boxes the weight will drop and go ground.
pack yourself as small as u can and send them on there way.
    hope this helps....good luck.

USPS do not use. UPS is the best. If you take it to a UPS store they will pack it and guarantee loss or damage because they packed it. I shipped a set of Chevelle headers from California to East coast. They packed and shipped and insured for $125.00. Arrived perfectly. Fed Ex it not so good. Hard to get to pay claims. Time in transit is not consistent. UPS is right on the money.

Try Fastenal. I hear the rates are very affordable. You have to ship store to store, and its not fast. But if price is the key, give them a call.

Thanks guys. I'll stop by a few of the stores and see tomorrow. FedEx or ups is what I have shipped before. I just wanna save the guy a buck. I'm sure it won't be 100 bucks lol it's from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania. So it's not that far. I'd think between 40-60 bucks. I just need to get the measurements and weights I guess of the objects to let them know....? I just gotta price the shipping to let the guy know the total costs is all.
