Default Want To Trade Casale Gears

I have a set of 10Deg. Casale gears 15% overdrive for a circle boat. I am looking to trade them for a set of 9% or 12%. These are standard weight gears in excellent shape. Anyone??

Are you're gears LH or RH? I have 10* LH and RH for sale only unless the 15's are RH.

I assume the gears are RH (circle boat) however the gears are not marked. The boat was setup to run off the crank snout. The gears are helical cut. How do I tell? The next question would be: what determines direction?? We use a right hand wheel, does that mean we need RH gears? Or does the gear direction follow engine direction?? Inquiring minds want to know.

They are stamped right next to the ratio, ie: 1.15 LH, 1.15 RH. You can run gears in either direction IMHO.

Lay the biggest gear flat on the table. Which way do the teeth lean? Left or Right?

At the top of the gear the teeth lean left. That makes them LH gears?? Also there is no LH/RH markings anywhere. The number of teeth is stamped in, 33T on the lower gear and 38T on the upper gear, also the ratio 1.15, 10*, and what I am guessing is the manufacture date 11/81.

If the TOP gear leans to the Left, then they are Right Hand gears. I can send a photo with the LH stamped on a set of gears that the top gear leans to the Right.
