Default Pro-stock circle boat motor or ?

498.6 cu.in. bow tie block with light weight 4340 crank, profiler heads with shaft rocker system, 2.9 stack injection- Kinsler. Engine was dynoed and built for endurance, but still has excellent mid range. Over $16,000 in parts and a ton of machining, I stopped adding up the stuff at $28,000. Will sell for the cost of parts only-no machining or labor. P.M for any questions. Jim

Default Video of this motor in competition

Here is a little something to look at while you are getting out your wallet so I can mark this thing sold. Go to "You Tube" , type in Davis-Weber Race Team #4 in the search and see my
race deck 1400 pound hull dust off the SS and PS high point champion from the year before. Ty Newton was in the SS 80 and my "Excellent Driver" was Levi Weber. All in a days work! Oh, and try not to marvel at the good looks of owner shown after the race. The red/gray Bezer at the end of video now is in SoCal with David 519 as new owner.

Default Mouser 's try didn't work

I suggest try viewing as I stated--- Get on "You Tube" and search for Davis-Weber Race Team #4 and there should be more than just sound on your screen.

I must be a racist cause all I see is a black screen with a an announcer talking how my boat goes like hell. If it works for you great. I don't believe that any other boat has passed the ss80 on the outside and won the race by 30-40 boat lengths with a almost rookie driver(first pro-stock race). I always wanted to tell Ty "Now you know how the rest of last years competition feels" Now that would be brass-ball attitude!

    Default Well Gee Farm Boy!!!!

    Not fair you Bully!
A 498 PRO STOCK PICKING ON A LITTLE 427 SUPER STOCK CRATE MOTOR?? Why Jimmie you should be ashamed! SS boats NEVER pick on larger motored PS boats, do they?
Tye must had his reasons, like maybe wasn't handling that day, down on HP, couldn't hug those buoys on that small turn course, or his leg gave out!
Anyone get a speed?? Looks to be over a buck teen! 130??
Yes, this is what b-boats copied! Harlan Orrin designed and built a 4 straker, rare, RACE boat!

I doubt you really believe the SS80 is only making 650 HP.. Mine makes almost that and I don't have half the cool stuff those guys do. Regardless, I bought a boat from Jim and he treated me real good. All his stuff is top notch and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a nice motor. I'd bet that motor makes north of 900 HP
