I can verify the statements about what's in the engine, as it's still here.

This is a great deal, he is selling for thousands less than he has invested in it, and it can be seen still as a short block along with measurement sheet.

Couple of small corrections. The block is actually a Gen 6 (better than Gen 5) Block was not actually "brand new", but burned and blasted to bare metal, all fresh machine work.

The blower is an 8-71, not 6-71 (again, a better thing)

Owner will be posting photos later, he was here dropping off the blower and a couple of parts today, engine will get assembled soon if someone cares to see parts before it's all bolted together.

I’d rather live with a good question than a bad answer.

Intention was to run pump GAS @ 5lbs No fuel system in place. I am not familiar with other fuels or what is needed in the build to run other fuels. I am sure Barry can help out with that. I am sure the build could handle a lot more boost and power.

That's usually my answer with a one word question!

Lou,,, jstnoc owns the engine, and has correctly answered below, it should run on 91 octance (best premium we can buy in So Cal) with the blower and proper tune up. Different pulleys and more boost might be run if an intercooler was added, and the engine should also have an oil cooler which has not currently been factored in either. 5 lbs is approximate boost based on the 11% under pulleys that are currently with the blower, based on BDS chart, actual results may vary. Happy to supply my phone number if you want to talk directly to me and skip the peanut gallery.

Sure, it was either that or give you a smartass reply, and I don't know you well enough, even though your reputation precedes you.
