    Default WTB BBC intake manifold

Looking to buy a nice BBC intake, would like a performer rpm but am open to options, for a very mild 454 with oval port heads. Thanks

I have a polished Edelbrock Torquer for oval port that I just replaced. Would sell for $125 + shipping

The torker is a little too much for my motor, I need one that makes power from about 1500- 5500 rpm. Thank you

okay... Torquer not a high RPM'ing intake, was made to help build torque in the mid-range. I just swapped out for a Victor - O to get more into the upper end. Had one on a 350, swapped to a performer RPM and didn't really notice much difference.

The problem I'm having is It takes my boat too long to get on plain, it's a 22" Daytona I/O with a stock 454, I'm gonna put a small cam in it and I want the toque/ power range to match the intake. The torker says its range is from2500-6500, the cam I'm puting in is from 1000-5000

I have an older performer, looks rough but has no damage or repairs. After paint or powdercoat would clean up nice, $50 plus whatever it costs to get it from Lodi/Stockton area to where you are.

Crzjay, I don't think the Performer was made with square bore (assuming you are talking carb mount). To get a square bore you'd have to go at least to a Performer RPM which is a little taller. Torquer is square bore, though, and low profile

You are correct, I have been looking at the performer RPM. I didn't even recognize the performer was only made as a spread bore, thank you for the info, I would have been chasing my tail on that one, lol.I think I'm gonna order a new performer RPM with when I order the cam tonite.. Thank you Tahiti350 I appreciate your help.
