It's all your fault. At least that's what I told the wife. I blamed it on you and Wayne Herbert. I told her you guys said it's easier and safer to set the boat with more horsepower. I didn't tell her how much more but the small details don't matter.

Why not lower the piston comp, add roller cam/lifters, bolt the blower on it ?

Wizbang this other deal kinda just came together. Plus this SS deal was built to race and deserves to be in someone's race boat. As Greg Shirley said "this is the best SS engine he has had".

Don't SS Motors have to have JE Pistons with the APBA logo visible on them? Yes/No?

That would be a question for Greg but you think SS80 or SS1 run these pistons? Have they ever been torn down, I would assume if any have been inspected it would be one of those two.

@LeE SS13 I just spoke to Greg and they are stamped APBA on the under side of the pistons. It is race spec legal. Just got done running it today and it runs extremely well. Entertaining realistic offers.

You can see it on the piston of cylinder 3, the glare on 1 makes it look like it is not there. It's legit, no BS.
