Default W.T.B Lightning Headers for BBC

    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a set of Lightning Header for my 2000 Ultra 210RS running a 502 BBC.
I have a set on it now but the outer tubing on one side rusted through

If you or anyone you know have a set for sale please call or text me at (951)314-8114

    Thanks,

    Ross

Ive vey already repaired them once, I cut out the rusted spots and welded new pieces of pipes but the rust is all over the place and new holes keep poppin up, previous owner must have not drained the water out after each use. It's a 2000 and they've never been replaced...I think it's time to swap them out lol.

    Thanks for the offer though.

Good luck. I couldn't find a used set. I was a little reluctant to buy a used set not knowing if those would soon leak on me as well.

The exact same thing happened to me a year ago on my Ultra 21 XS. I went for my maiden voyage and filled up my bilge with water before I had noticed.

GS told me that it was a result of not draining the water from the petcocks located on the water inlet tubes.

Anyways, I sold them to a guy that repaired them. They came out pretty cool but I no longer have the pictures he sent me. He cut and plated every primary tube.

I really liked those headers but I was in a rush to get back on the water so I bought some off the shelf EMIs that I'm selling to put towards different set of headers.

i just bought a used set of CMI split tubes with tailpipes for 900$ on offshore only, they showed up with rust all over them i was like phuck!!

but it was just surface rust from being in salt water, mothers polish made them look brand new again, polished them up and pressure tested all good! gotta have the stainless/stainless combo, those lightnings that are rusted through are obviously the mild steel outters.

Before i bought these i was going to build my own, just in stainless 316L material i was looking at close to 1700$ plus running my 300amp tig welder for probably 40-60 hours would be another 500 on my electricity bill haha

the only problem i have now is how huge these things are, just barely fit under my hatch
