I have a stringer mount style oil cooler That is in great shape. I completely disassembled and cleaned all of the parts. I also sanded all of the mating surfaces for a good seal for re-assembly. I ran a cleaning brush down every single oil cooling tube in the copper/brass housing. I also ordered a dozen viton seals from Mcmaster carr and they are new in the bag. The only reason it is still disassembled is so the new owner can see what great shape this oil cooler is in. The end caps show very little use and have hardly any corrosion.
