    Default WTB - BBC 500+ cc long block

    Looking for a BUILT long block no intake, carb or valve covers needed. 502-572 Cu In

    Preferences:
    Gotta be 4 bolt main GM Gen V or VI or better
    Forged crank and rods
    Alum pistons no more than 9:1 CR (for supercharger)
    Internally balanced complete with timing chain, balancer, flex plate etc.
    Cam: Mild Hyd Roller (for supercharger)
    Heads need to be Alum built AFR, Dart, Brodix etc, NO PRO COMP!!!!!
    Rockers alum roller - good stuff , no chinese please


    What kind of junk you guys got laying around out there? let me know.

    Have a buddy that has a 525 ci. Gen 4 tall deck, 4.500 crank, .400 long rods, forged blower pistons, hydraulic roller cam, iron big port heads.

    I have a 540 ci dart with AFR heads steel crank set up for v drive call or texs coletr5 1 661 406 2448 thanks $8000

    thought you were 1/2 way done building the engine already? your just getting started? ruh roh lol.. i ended up building mine to a 555 10.6to1 deal since i had a couple bad pistons and couple deep scratches in Cylinders and had to bore it too .060 over .

    Not getting started any longer.... the "local" machine shop and builder held everything up for more than 3 months! tired of waiting sold the whole thing to the builder and went my own direction. Just gonna find a turn key motor and go with it. From quotes I have gotten from multiple builders I cannot get a motor built for what they are selling them out there for these days.... there are many choices!!! SO Im shopping....

    Heard your news on FB.... that sucks I guess, but part of the "building thing".... theres always another problem to deal with! - we'll have to make some runs together.... once mine is up and running too start up some "Street Outlaws SACRAMENTO"....

    Default Thanks for the replies....

    Just pulled the trigger on a new WPM engine.... 540 all steel Scat rotating assembly, Diamond pistons, ALL STRAUB Cam and upper end w/ Aluminum heads. The Vortech is sitting here waiting for something to get attached to it....

    Heres a peaky.... with my 'Sunday tires' on it....
