    Default Complete BBC $5200 obo

    Complete BBC For Sale

Complete 468 BBC for sale. 4 bolt main, 990 heads, roller rockers, stainless valves, Edelbrock TR2X tunnel ram, Holley 660 center squitters, flame arrestors, Barry Grant regulator, Russel inline fuel filter, MSD Pro billet distributor, MSD Blaster 2 coil, MSD plug wires, chrome alternator, GM starter, 12 quart oil pan, neovane water pump with extension, braided plumbing, glenwood mounts, set up for v-drive. If I remember correctly it's around 12.5 to 1 compression, if not a little more. Had the heads freshened and motor reassembled 6 or so years ago (shortblock was NOT disassembled or freshened at this time), ran it in the boat once, then pulled the motor and sold the boat. Motor has been sitting in the garage since. I spray the cylinders and roll it over with a wrench a few times a year. Carbs should be rebuilt and timing needs to be set. Polished hardware that looks fine as it, but if you really want it to shine you should run over it quick. That's about as much as I can remember about this motor. Had aspirations of getting another v-drive and dropping it in, but I bought a bagged chevy and still haven't gotten my blown Cole 20.5 together...so reality is I have no need for this motor. It's being sold as is. $5200 or best offer. Located 45 minutes north of Chicago. Text or call Six Zero Eight-346-1 1 Eight Five. Can also PM but you’ll get a faster response texting or calling. Thanks. Pat

How about $4500. I'm never going to use this motor and want it gone.

My response is going to be borderline completely worthless but here we go....I honestly don't know what's in it for rods and pistons....all I know is at one time before it was reassembled I took a pic of the pistons up outta the hole and sent it to Barry O. (Obnoxious001) to get his guess on compression before I bought the 990 heads from him....that was 2007ish and I can't find the pic. My dad had the motor built originally and all I can tell you is he wouldn't put junk in it. You can look at some of the pics in my gallery and see some of the boats and hardware we've owned. I know.....great sales pitch on my part, but dad passed away in 2004 and at that time I didn't pay attention to the build....I just wanted to drive it. Wish I could be more help.....
