Lifter bores are bushed, machine work is done. All of it was done at Joey grose's shop. It is ready for assembly, let me know if you can get up this way, I might be persuaded to meet in the fresno area if that helps. I also see I forgot to mention in the ad, I have a full set of Lunati H-beams that go with it too.

Mark Im sincerely interested in this stuff because we want to build a play motor for our Placecraft tunnel boat , while we are waiting for Harold at R & D marine to build are 600 ci big cheif motor for drag racing . Im trying to figure out how It can be worth my while and money as even to drive to Fresno it's 7 + hrs and my truck chevy 2500hd has the 8.1 496 motor in it and gets right at 7 miles a gallon on the highway if I don't run the a/c

Yeah I understand that, all of what you have invested in it , I just sold an absolutely perfect running 500 ci track proven race motor I had over 15k invested in for $7800.00 and I have a buddy thats got a fresh 525 bbc pan to intake with dart pro1 aluminum heads for $5700.00 here in town so I will have to think about it all ! So 3500 is your bottom line ?

If you come to Lodi to get it I'll take $3200, if I meet you in Fresno I'll go $3400, that should help out with the gas a little haha
