Default complete and fresh JB berkely pump assembly

Ok i am not going to be running this pump with the new procharged bbc. so i'm going to put the whole thing for sale to try and help pay for another pump i have a line on.

This pump was rebuilt by me with a new american turbine rebuild kit. it has a new AA aluminum impeller, new front bearing, bowl bushings, wear ring, gaskets and rope seals. it has a primajet installed also. i had the suction and bowl and nozzel all powder coated with candy blue. its a 2 stage silver then blue powdercoat.

the pic i have is with the droop and place diverter which does NOT come with the setup, but i DO have a ram horn nozzel and the adapter to bolt directly to the bowl. the ram horn nozzel was also powder coated the same blue at the same time, but has never been on the boat. i will post pics of that also when i get them.

this pump probably has about 10-15 hours of running on it and is very tight. i will post a video of my boat. you can see it throws a very nice tail, and when i accelerated from near stopped positions it had zero cavitation. the engine is a mild BBC i estimated about 450-475 hp and I spun the pump to max of 4750 RPM. for a big boat this thing flew out of the hole.
youtube link to my boat running:

anyways, if you have any other questions let me know, it is stilll mounted in the boat, but ready to pull it.

I would like to $850 for it, but i need to move this quickely to try to pay for another setup i'm trying to purchase so, price is slightly negotiable with cash ready to go. let me know

pm or call me at 559-917-7366

    thanks, Andrew

You say it is tight, but what are the clearances. I am sure one persons tight could be loose for another. It may help with the sale too.

The "B" bowl IS just as good as the "G" bowl for lake and river use.

    Good luck with your sale.

When i set the pump up, i set it with .028" clearance on the impeller. this was the final clearance measured after the impeller nut was torqued, the bowl installed and all new stainless bolts torqued to spec. the clearance was found in multiple measurements around the impeller, and also with the impeller in many different places after spinning around.

I have never once had any noises or issues with the pump. i'm quite the grandma when it come to driving my boat. (my dad can vouch for that) so i can say this pump has not had any abuse, i'm confident it is in perfect working condition and will suit someone just fine.

need to move this thing, already pulled the trigger on the new pump assembly.
