    Default WTB: 4" silencers

I am looking for a pair of 4" mufflers or silencers suitable for an IMCO Powerplus wet exhaust with through transom tips. Either something to go into the exhaust or a set of replacement tips. I love the boat the way it is now but SWMBO says it's too loud.....

Thanks for the responses. I have angle cut exhaust tips so I am not sure if the clamp on types will work. Has anyone tried them on this type of tip?

Also, how well do they work and how much power do they steal?

Mine were on the Rex Marine 4 inch taper tips, no problems.

As for power loss, absolutely none! with the exhaust note cut down by at least half. Also a nice feature, the nasty exaust does not get on the transom.

Thanks for the responses, I am going to wait a while before buying since I don't really need the mufflers until springtime. Also I am looking to spend a bit less.... around $150 maybe....... I am not into spending 2 or 3 hundred bucks on something that might not silence enough for the wife. So if these are still available later in the year or if the price drops then I will be willing to deal.
