Looks about what I need, question, will the rake provide enough lift to run on a v bottom 19 Schiada ? Or is it for a flat bottom ?

I'm running an 111/4 x 17 on mine and the boat loves it! That is with 34 gears. Since PM's are still not working, I have 32 gears but they are the heavy duty, top fuel type, and would require me to put them in your drive, different spacers etc. Try calling J.J. Beaver or Ron Braksma for an exchange. From what you described, I would be adjusting the plate a bunch. You need more up on the plates. Call me with questions. Where are you located?

To be completely honest I am a jet boat guy. I picked up a flat bottom and parted it out. I am not sure what pitch and size is correct for the application that you are looking for, but appreciate the input from Stevo143. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks

I have a Menkins 11 3/4 15 2 blade that I'm going to try, as I'm running 43 gears, that may work, I'm going to crank my plate up and try that tomorrow. If Steve wants it sell it to him for 200.00 and I'll buy it from him for 225.00 probably next week !! Thanks for the input I'll give you a call next week Steve when I get some more seat time and have something to say. That pic of your boat is a relly good 'set'.

I will get some measurements in the morning to give you a starting point. I couldn't believe how much I was able to raise the plates from where it was when I got the boat. Still have some down available for safety! I am guessing that you have the original bronze strut that is set at about 8.5 / 9 degrees. I think you will find with the 2 blade a lot less steering input will be needed also.
