Default WTB: BBC Alternator, HEI and starter

I'm trying to get the last odds and ends to get my boat on the water hopefully sometime this decade...

I need a alternator + bracket, I dont know much about the differences, single wire.

HEI, looking for your standard GM bolt in and rock and roll.

Starter, the boat has a TH400 in it.

Pickup in So.Cal would be killer.

    Thanks guy!

if it were me, i would visit the local wrecking yard & for less than $100, you could get all the parts you need to finish your boat! ...also...you could get ahold of Mike (Mouser) & if he has them laying around, he would prob give them to you for a 6 pak ...just sayin' my .02 cents

    Default Covered engine??

If you have an engine cover you're required to use Marine Alt/Starter/Dist... If not, as Ron said, a "pick-a-part" yard will have what you need....Ray

PS I have a chrome one wire Marine Alt for $160. shipped to your door

You can get a two wire HEI on EBay from Skip White. Regardless of comments they are 68.00 and work fine. I replaced all my MSD stuff to prove a point. Ofcourse if this is an all out engine build it wouldn't be practical.

A lot of the Super Stock guys run the HEIs, no problems.....John Avery is the man behind the magic HEI in Dave Rankin's SS80, as well as several others.......Ray

PS O Reiley's has the spring and weight kits for the HEIs......
