Default Need standard jet bassett's for 460

I'm looking for a set a of standard bassett jet boat headers for a 460. I have a set of Rewarder twisties that won't fit, barley hits the side of my boat, I think a set of the standards will work. I also have a set of harden marine OT wet log headers. Looking to trade/sell the rewarders twisties and hardin ot for a set of bassett standards.... John

If you could measure the overall width of the headers, then John will know if they will fit his hull. John, you need to measure the hull, and deduct an inch. Measure at the rear of the engine. The hull is very narrow. The Sanderson twistys are narrowist that I have seen. You can either ship to John or my shop. He is a friend and good customer, and is a stand-up guy that wont stiff you. John is also looking for a single plane polished aluminun intake for a 460 Ford, D3 head. Please, no dual plains or dual port offys. Call John or Me, Joe, at 707 864-0332.

Thank you Joe, I do appreciate you looking out for some headers and other parts for me. Thought I was gonna be out of luck being my hull is so narrow. At least for my application and hull size, the twistie style header is wider than the standard. Luckly I found some Eagle Racing Headers in pretty good shape that came off a boat with a similar hull, (Hondo). 75 Fantasy, those headers look great I wish I would have seen your post earlier, at least someone else that runs a BBF can have the opportunity to buy some good looking headers. I still have a set of OT Hardin Marine wet log headers for sale/trade. The pass side pipe did have two cracks, but have been welded and new dognut gasket as well. Diver side leaks a little water but not too bad. I will try to post some pics. Thanks again all.

Default Basset Water Injected Headers BBF

I am removing my Basset Twisted Style header and going with a thru-hull setup. They've passed a few noise ordinance laws on our lake(s) and I have to go with something that has a quieter tone.

Anyhow - I am selling my headers for $650 - they've been used for two seasons, the boat stays stored indoors, but they do have some bluing near the heads as most do after being run.

If you are interested - please PM me! - Thanks - Jonathan

    Default 460 bassett twistie headers

I had a set of rewarder twisties that were to wide for my boat, I don't think the bassett twisties will work either. I need to use the standard style. I bought a set, the guy said were bassett's , but were eagle racing headers and don't fit exactly how I would like them to, so still looking for a set of standard style headers .
