    Default Bump....

Bumping up fresh, ready to go with all new parts, "C" heads for an OLDS 455...These "C" heads are considered some of the best flowing OLDS heads, and these have the 2.070 intake valves......... No "cores" required........ Ray

    Ray,

I am interested in the "C" Heads you have for $500, but I see the items need to be picked up in BHC. ((What does BHC stand for?)

I live in South Africa and importing stuff here is costly. I can maybe arrange with Duane from HTP to help me out getting the items here and do the payment through him. I will have to ask him, but if you are interested let me know.

Wikus, sorry, I drifted away from this ad.... Sure, anything I can do to help you get these heads 1/2 way around the world.... Have Duane call me.... BHC stands for Bullhead City in the tri state (Arizona/ Nevada/California) area along the Colorado river.... I listed them as "pick up" because they're so damn heavy to be shipping.....

It looks like the heads are headed for South Africa to "Jet mad".... I do have 5-6 other sets of heads, Ks, Gs, and Cs, and will be re doing another set shortly.... Even with the 2.00 valves some of the "C"s flow better than some of the 2.072 heads... These were likely the 2.00 and opened up to 2.072 intakes.

    From the Olds head site:
    C 394548 80cc 2.000, 2.072" 1.625"
67-69 400/425/455's [except W-30 and most Hurst/Olds], including 1968 H/O with A/C. Valves commonly 2.000" and 1.625", but Toronado and 442 [except Turnpike Cruiser] heads had the larger 2.072" intakes. Presumably the H/O with C heads also had the large valves. Shallow spring seats. No hard exhaust seats. On 1967 engines, RH head will have the engine ID stamped into the front. Correct for 67-69 442's, even 68 H/O with air. Heads for 1967 W-30 or California cars had the A.I.R. passages [that boss on the exhaust port] drilled, tapped, and plugged. Some '68-9 442's with auto trans may have had small valves. This is reputed to be the best-flowing head, and is still fairly easy to find.
