Default bbc gen 5/6 rotating assem

here it is, im going to take the 509 to a 540. so the old rotating assembly is for sale. these parts were in the engine when i bought it. i had them all checked, polished, sized, re bushed, when i freshened it up after purchasing it. i have put 34 hrs on it since then.

these were in a gen 6 502 block. just pulled it appart at Foxwell Motorsports today. everything looked perfect. bearings looked awesome. almost a shame to do this

bbc, gen 5 or 6. forged gm crank, 4.0 stroke. 10 - 10. (double keyed)

    manley H beam rods, 6.135 4.0 stroke

je reverse dome blower pistons, 4.500

its all balanced and ready to go.

this stuff has 34 hrs on it since the following was done :

crank was magged, checked, and polished.

rods were checked, and the small end was re bushed with carrillo parts.

UPDATES!!! ALSO COMES WITH A NICE STEEL BALLANCER, (double keyed) that was ballanced with this assembly.

    asking $1000 shipped.
will also sell these parts by them selves. $500 for the crank w/ ballancer, and $500 for rods and pistons.

contact Nelson, 805-320-1528, or send a pm.

This is a really nice assembly and a killer deal. The crank has been nicely detailed, originally by Clay Smith Racing. Rods have fresh Carillo bushings, all good parts.
    Bump.

yes,it only made about 950 hp, and that only got me to 96mph at 6200 rpm. i was maxed out on boost, for av gas, and just a hair under powered to get up to 6500 rpm and over 100mph.

so, i decided to put a bigger blower on it, then better heads, then this, then that, then before i knew it, i decided to take a look at the bearings while it was on the engine stand, (they looked perfect), then i decided, while its this far apart, whey not stroke it and make it a 540, so that 1100+ hp i want is easier to get.

btw, it was in a short deck.

it was real hard to replace this stuff after seeing how great it all looked, but i really wanted the extra cubic inches, and this was the time to talk myself into it

its a disease for sure. and this is just a family cruiser. it better sail right on past 100.

ill have all the new stuff for sale next year when i decide i need 632 ci

Default price dropped / still for sale

dropped the price again this is still for sale, it is the crank, the rods, and the ballencer. also includes the rings and bearings. the rings and bearings have 34 hrs on them.

the rings look perfect, and the bearings look brand new. the bearings still have scotch brite marks in them from cleaning before instal.

great deal for someone that has a gen 5 or 6 502 and want s to build a blower motor.

    $1000

also comes with a billet alum (littlefield) alternator pulley, that blolts to the ballencer. alt pulley adapts to blower pulley bolt pattern.
