Default 600 HP 4 bolt 454 short block parts

I have a MK IV 4 bolt 454 block and rotating assembly that could make in the range of 600 HP with proper cam and heads. Forged Velasco crank, 7/16" GM rods, forged standard bore pistons and standard bore block. Comes with nice Fluidamper and SFI flexplate. Block is clean, but has one sleeve. Crankshaft was just magged, and ground, ready to assemble. Includes Clevite rod and main bearings, moly rings, new cam bearings and rear main seal. $1180

Would this be a good replacement for a Gen V 454. (1994 jet boat motor)?

The only difficulty in putting a MK IV in place of a Gen 5 engine is that the pan, timing cover, and cylinder heads are different, so you would need to replace them as well. Depending on what parts you have, you might want to look for a Gen 5 or Gen 6 block.

Yep,, good for NA,, not what you need for forced induction. I do have some parts for a blown/turbo 496 shortblock, less crankshaft.
