Default WTD: Mercruiser buzzer, & engine hatch ram controller box

My existing buzzer at the dash died after one year new. It is no longer audible unless you have your ear right up to it. Can't believe Mercruiser wants $60-something for the damn thing. Anyone have a spare they want to sell?

I'm also looking for one of those control boxes for engine hatch rams. My boat has dual rams and what is most likely waaaaay too small gauge wire feeding the rams. The hatch pretty much will not open without help from your hand any more. The side farther from the switch is even worse. I don't remember who makes it, but it's a control box that gets relay switched direct power from the batteries to the rams. The existing wiring just acts as the switch to activate the relay box thing. Sorry for the horrible description....total lack of brain power tonight.

any 12V buzzer will do. Try Radio Shack.

I tried the Radio Shack route. The one I went to didn't have anything that would work well. They were either too quiet or most of them had very very small gauge wire like for a PC board.
