Default Powerglide Trans Complete to Drive

I have a Powerglide tranny all ready to go for a v-drive setup with the stubby input shaft cover, a Stef's deep oil pan and cooler lines (no cooler). I'll include the driveline and driveline cover that is custom made for this application. Driveline is 12" long from centerline of each U-joint. I'll also include the Summit gate shifter w/ cable for the unit.

SWAP IT- If you have a nice condition direct drive setup and want to swap out the whole thing for my tranny I will be open to see what you have for a straight across trade. I will need the whole setup for a BBC; bell housing, flange adaptor, drive line and driveline covers to the v-drive unit.

SELL IT - Make me an honest offer

these are pics of the unit and parts

I'm interested in the trans for a spare.
I can get it shipped through Fastenal, I have a commercial account.
Get me the weight and dimensions and the location of the nearest Fastenal branch near you.

Don't need the driveline cover or shifter.
What HP level was it built to take ?

Glides are very strong transmissions even it stock form. With some mods it will hold big power. the TH400 is longer, heavier, and you dont seem to use 1st gear that much. good luck Paul with the sale.

I keep getting asked how much? I dont really know, but one mans deal is another mans loss... since I know I cant get enough "cash" for it to buy me a complete direct drive setup, a straight across trade would be best for me.

If you add up what this thing has:

    TCI stub plate - $120
    Stef's Pan - $125
    Shifter -$200
So about $450 just in what I can see. I dont know what else was done inside of it. But TCI has apparently been in it because their Serial # is stamped on the case which identifies whats in it. I have to get the number off the case and verify what it means from them.

This is the list of stuff they build into their performance transmissions:

    TCI® - Powerglide

I have a velvet drive in my spectra that we could trade. It is behind a BBF 460 . Let me know if you are interested.
