I normally don't participate in stupid arguements but I've been drinking so here we go.:|err:|err

RLJ676, I do not directly pedle Toyota's here people ask for my assistance and I have helped them and for the most part they have appreciated the help.

Next it is really disgusting to watch you beg for your job, and say buy Chevy, buy Ford because we need you. Every industry is tough right now real estate, mortgage, boating, insurance, construction it's all scary. Do you see all of the Cobra, Lavey, Eliminator fans complain when someone buys an Ultra? Do you see them say the poor riggers at these other companies need to keep their jobs. No they congratulate them on a nice purchase. Every company in todays market has people retired and starting there careers counting on them.

In any industry competition brings prosperity why do you think that automalls exist, gas stations all share intersections, and fast food restraunts line streets sharing parking lots. The better product and service will survive and for those that fail it leaves new opportunity for others to chase their dream. But your spew is no different than me standing in front of the Chrysler dealer across the street and instead of telling them why they should buy an XB over a PT Cruiser I beg them to buy from me or my dealer might go out of bussines or as you would say my livelihood is on the line.

Bottom line is the cook at McDonalds job could be in danger if the cook at Del Taco offers a better product or service at a better price. I'm glad you are loyal to your employer that's great I bet the Toyota employees in San Antonio TX, Princeton IN, or the Honda employees in the Kentucky plant are just as loyal but I hope they don't beg with blind allegiance for their job like you.

Frankly, there's a large difference in what I do, and what you do. I put effort into making the cars good, or better, and you simply sell a product. You could be selling Toyota, Suburu, or a computer, it really doesn't matter as you have NO input on it. Last, you don't peddle on here? Please, everyone knows you sell toyotas, and I'd guess you get a lot of business on here.

Also, please show where I'm "begging" for my job? This country owes a great deal to the Big 3 and many people have turned their back on them for outdated reasoning. If the cars aren't better, don't buy them. Don't ignore them because they're domestic.

I believe all HD's are built in Flint, MI, so I don't know what's done in Mexico.

As for a global economy, of course it is. And we are selling all over the world, but I'd guess no one in Germany is stupid enough to argue how their Opel is as German or as good for their country as a BMW or Daimler product, although we employ a lot of people in Russelsheim. Americans have flat out lost pride in this country and our product and THAT is what is disgusting.:|err

This is exactly what I'm talking about drive what you like, just because I like my Tundra and my Sequoia does not mean that I can't see a 2500HD and think it's a sick truck. I think the new F-150 is going to be awesome. As I've said before competition will bring everyone better products and a stronger market.

I can understand the guys that bleed blue, or the die hard bow tie guys because they have brand loyalty, I can't understand someone saying buy a Chevy because my living depends on it, well I have news for you the guy at the Toyota plant has a family, so does the guy at the KIA dealer, and the clerk at Wal-Mart. In these tough economic times America should be thankful that as the U.A.W. continues to drive the big 3 into the ground companies like Toyota are flourishing and creating more jobs, building more plants, and supporting people all the way down to the dealer level.

We use a wide variety of outside vendors glass companies, wheel companies, window tinters, and most of them are thankful for the business that we give them because without us they would not be able to feed their families in these times. They aren't getting much business from the local GM and Ford Dealers.

I did research the big 3 when i looked for a 1/2 ton pickup. Unforturnatly for them when it came to room, power and overall truck, the toy was better. I have owned 3 chevy, and 3 fords and they have all been great vehicles. I have nothing against the big 3 but in certian instances maybe toyota build a better car or truck. Looks like he has already had a few chevys, maybe he wants a change...
