    Default Say its not over

So today was a pretty nice day in the blue grass state. So I decided to take the dual sport out for a ride. One of the places I like to go during the summer is to the boat launch ramp that I use which is about 8 miles away.
So I'am riding along on the road there which is a nice sized 2 lane country road ,most people travel about 55 to 60 on this road.As I get about a mile from the ramp I see a truck pulling a pontoon boat going about 50 MPH coming toward me.I also see several people in the pontoon boat still partying. What could possibly go wrong.?

The odds are the same (and possibly less at 50 mph). Unless someone falls off or creates a problem (outside of the driver's control), nothing will happen, right? It's a MIRACLE anybody survived riding in the back of a pickup, too.

We have a guy on a Harley go up our residential street at 50-60 mph every other day.....He could ride up San Leandro Blvd which has a limit of 40, but why waste your time there when you can cut thru a neighborhood...? To add to this, two weeks ago, at 1 am. we had a guy run the stop sign on the cross street(Big dip/hump- he got airborne), then run the stop sign at SL blvd, then take out the utility box in the center divider, and finally he stopped head-on into a BART track pillar...I don't know whether he survived- They took him away still breathing......Put those two situations together and you could have some real mayhem.....The only problem with "Natural selection" is it sure takes a while and some innocent bystanders can get taken out(I forgot to mention that during the school year the kids from the elementary school are escorted by here in groups to the Boys & Girls club between 2:30 and 4pm....which is when said harley dude comes thru...Super cool guy....I guess.....

Sounds like the wild west.I'am surprised the police have not put the kabosh on him.If he is making a habit of riding a bike like that sooner or later the problem will be self curing.Like you said hope no innocents get hurt or worse before that.

I know what you're saying. At the Bullhead house, we regularly ride in the boat back and forth from the ramp to the house. Granted it's only a block, but it's not a shock to the neighbors anymore.....
