Default !!!!!!!! Need a little favor from my Vegas people ********

    I need someone with a

    "Tech 2"
programmer to turn off a low tire pressure fault on a 2007.5 chevy truck.

Buddy had the truck tires replaced with bigger ones and the sensors were not put in.

    Anyone ?

did you air up the tires to match what it requests on your driver's side door jam? if its sayin you have to "service tire monitor" , then its gotta bad tire pressure sensor in 1 of the wheels or you've either got too much tire pressure or not nuff. there's a service procedure in your owners manual that explains how to reset the lite, normally customers rotate their tires and never relearn the tire position, which turns on the lite. if ya need the procedure, let me know

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

Send Dicudmore a pm, he is a service guru over at Ed Bozarth Chevy. I am not sure what the dealer policy is on shutting off sensors but its worth a shot.......

I just had the dealer decrease the pressure in my sensors, I had E rated tires at 80PSI and now D rated tires and brought it down to 50 ish.

there is no way to turn off the fault then if the sensors arent there its jus like airbags as far as the government is concerned therefore we're not aloud to disable the system. trust me, if there was a way, id know it and be turning off all these damn farmers trucks round here

this all we're allowed to change, cant even change tire size anymore without gm's permission and then we have to charge the customer what gm charges us for the download, last 1 i did was 50bucks for jus the program download into the truck to change actual tire sizing. any dealer can adjust the remote control door lock receiver for looking for lower or higher pressures in the tires, that cost the dealer nothing but their time which the customer pays for.
