Default Article: Paul Pfaff Racing Engines Sold to New Owners

The new owner is Scott Struthers, who recently purchased Precision Offshore Marine. According to the deal, the company will retain both the name and the staff, including popular sales and marketing chief Gordon Jennings. "I'd had some other offers that didn't include Gordon, so I waited until I had one that did," Pfaff said. "They wanted him as part of the package, as well as the other guys in the shop here." Pfaff said that the new owner's long-term vision is to......

Godon Jennings is the best in the business and Pfaff is top shelf in my book.

Paul is a class act. I'm glad he's going to get some time to enjoy retirement now.

Gordy is GREAT, but Paul really is THE MAN. Paul has been a "ROCK" for Gordy, having adopted him as a legal son a few years after Gordy's dad was killed in a K-Boat race. When Gordy was hurt so badly, Paul never lost hope. I can't say enough nice things about Paul Pfaff and PFAFF RACING ENGINES......good luck to the new owners. I'm sure things will be fine there...

    Hello Mr. Hill:

I could not agree more with your post above....Paul Pfaff is THE MAN. That is why I call him "Don Pablo" he has earned the respect of everyone myself included. I guess we all wanted Gordy to carry on the legacy of what Paul has built and it would have been a great business plan but for the economy.

Once again, congratulations to Don Pablo and we hope he truly enjoys retirement because he deserves it.

Have bought Pfaff built engines since 1969, when Paul and Dave Sowins were Pfaff & Sowins in Harbor City. It's been an exceptional run of record setting and championship caliber race motors for well over forty years. Hope the new owners can continue the legacy.

Having worked for Paul and Gordy a few years back (in high school) I have nothing but nice things to say about both of them, and their crew of employees. I learned something new every day from Gordy and his crew. I sincerely want thank them for the time they spent working with me, for the things they taught me I now use in my own shop.

    Best of Luck, Kyle.
