The whole reason I started this thread, This nfl player on tv was bitching he didnt make enough money. Stating the owners were greedy, Yet 50% of America could not make out what he was saying, I am sure he has a BA degree, he didnt earn.
I dunno if it's fair to say he wasn't making enough. The owners want him to take a pay cut and play extra games.
I don't care either way.
It seems to me they either ought to play for a flat fee, or play for a percentage. If they play for a %, the owners oughta open the books. If not, the whole 'salary cap" idea goes out the window, which leaves the owners open to suits for collusion and antitrust.
