    Hey Phebus:

It is good to see you posting wondered what happened to you! I trust and hope all is well.

You should be around in April... I imagine for Desert Storm?

Contrary to your position this site has more performance boating content than any other West Coast site. I would challenge you to come up with another site that has more real boating content either in print or internet medium greater than...Performance Boats.

For the West Coast Performance Boater such as myself or anyone with a boat 24ft and above... Performance Boats is the place to go for information and tech content. The east coast guys have Offshore Only... and with no hesitation I can say OSO is the leading website for the Offshore Performance Boater. In all areas from content to information on OSO, OPA, SBI, OSS, UIM, P-1, Class-1 and X-Cat you name it. I won't even mention everyone of the big builders listed in the owners forums from cats to v-bottoms...any arguments visit the owners forums and you'll understand what I'm talking about.

As for the thread topics with articles they allow the forum user to hear from vendors and boat builders at the Los Angeles show online... for those people that are unable to attend. It gives them a peak into what is going on at the show. The article threads on the Miami show were awesome and allowed me to view performance boating material from the show even though I was unable to attend.

If by "rocking" you mean useless bullshit and one line banter no thanks! I'll take the performance boating content anytime, including any video interviews with builders and vendors showcasing their latest wares.

Then again maybe that is why I prefer performance boating websites versus those which are simply social watering holes.
