Default Must do things in San Francisco?

In late July, We will be spending a long weekend San Francisco. It would be great for people familiar with the area to send some things we should see and do. Prob save me a ton of time on line guessing and planning.

I promise, four or five days and we'll get our redneck a$$'s back to South Carolina!

If you have the means, have dinner at Gary Danko. Walk the city. The only way to see the city is on foot. Go to North Beach on a Fricay or Saturday night. Take a ferry boat to Tiburon, and have lunch at Sams. Are you with family or just a couple? I go to the city 4 to 5 times a year. Lots to see, just need to know what direction you are looking for; aka party time, or touristy time?

No thanks, Dont want to get political. I have been there a few times. Let's say I am a rams and dodgers fan. And because of there politics, I will not spend another dime there. It is a gorgeous city though and there is plenty to see golden gate bridge, fisher mans wharf, China town, outside of SF, Stanford, Berkley. Flying into SF on a clear day is just amassing.

Have dinner at the House Of Prime Rib. None better.....and their Martinis are killer. hint: order Martinis "up"...not "over"

Dinner at north beach restaurant. Italian

Pick your favorite kind of ethnic food and have a great dinner

    Ride the cable car

    Do a bay cruise.

Enjoy some crab and sourdough bread and clam chowder in a sourdough bowl

Drive to ocean beach and check out the cliff house and golden gate park.

If you like seafood there are various good seafood places on the embarcadero

If you wanna go for a drive follow highway 1 either north or south for a bit

If the weather is nice (fog-free), lunch at the Cliff House at the north end of Ocean Beach and a trip to the top of Twin Peaks for an amazing view of the entire Bay Area.
