    Default Canada Visitors

There were four couples visiting LHC from Canada for the Laughlin River Run and exploring a place had never been before. They had trips to Oatman,Kingman,Laughlin,Parker and other places around here.I could not get over how every time I saw them they were just beaming and excited of the great weather we have. The Thursday Main Street Party was over the top for them.

I enjoyed my time with new friends from Alberta and learned much from discussing different topics. They LOVE USA!!

Amazing the amount of foreign visitors that pass through LHC during the winter months...all to see the bridge... Too bad the village is such a blight...

Well the bank that now has the property is trying hard to develop it and there is a planned informational and feed back meeting, this week I believe. You can see the info on Today's News Herald.com. I am a betting man and am telling everyone the negative people will prevail and this multi-million dollar project will not proceed as some part time or snow birds or maybe just anti progress people here will kill it.

I was there to pick up a boat and play with it for a couple of weeks in mid-March. The weather was perfect (80's), but the wind on Havasu wasn't fun for my little jet (but it was spring break Saturday, so there was that). Spent most of my time on the Colorado, launching from the Avi.

I really enjoyed my time down there, as it was -30 and 6 feet of ice on my lakes at that time (snow is just melting now).

I and am considering buying a house in the Bullhead/Fort Mohave area, as the prices are outrageously cheap right now.

It has been a looooooooooooooong winter in Canada. It snowed 1' at my place 10 days ago. Canadians are cool, they like the winters in the southwest, out cheap dollar, gas prices, and good cheap liquor.

Beer in Canada is $24 a 12 pack, or more! Many like a good malt scotch, keeps them warm. They are not into tequila, and it is $35 for our $12 bottle of Jose C.

And these is only one sport, HOCKEY, not much else matters.
