    Brett, looks like a 496 HO to me. I wasn't aware that Merc made a 425 HP small block??

    Looks like a lot of boat for the money.
    Question- wouldn't a flat hatch be better for the purposes of laying out?

    Even if the overall height of the hatch would be higher I would think an extra surface would be valuable in a smaller boat.
