The only problem with a lot of these nice boats on the market. Did we not do (the original owners) some research when they picked the color schemes. Sorry there are some real nice boats that look horrible.

LOL, that is funny because that is one of the main reasons i opted for my boat, it is all white and it can never go out of style like all gel schemes do of certain eras.

Bottom line is "Toys" are or should be bought and paid for with "Disposable Income" which as many of you have perfectly stated - the stupid people out there buying them in 2002-2007 were paying INFLATED ridiculous prices because the banks would loan them money on their INFLATED ridiculous priced homes and then all that phoney money was on the line. Then all these over-priced boats, cars, bikes, and THE HOUSE TOO were all lost. The builders/manufacturers of all these toys (and houses) didnt lose out, but they did shoot themselves in the foot by letting prices become so inflated because in the aftermath, it could not continue to support itself and the markets for all these items crashed like everything else. They took all they could when they could instead of keeping things constant and steady - true profit equals constant and steady growth of customers, not pricing! This happened in all industries because CEO's believed the profits would be continually supported.... well we all know what happened. It was the pyramid effect.

Then the real disaster occurred when Johnny No-Good couldnt pay his tab anymore and just did the walkin thing and left the rest of us to cover his a$$.... well now we're gonna be paying it even more as all values of the things we bought and paid for keep coming down as values shrink either buy depreciation or by inflation.

I have no forgiveness for our banking/investment industry in this country because I believe they hold the most liability for this total collapse of our system. But I do believe that many industry leaders failed to see the fact that I have just pointed out here and took all they could as fast as they could instead of exercising tried and true business habits of making good relationships with true customers.
