Seems very similar to the cities proposed rent a ring proposal last year and that was subsequently cancelled for obvious reasons.

What happens if I just pull up, park and go to the bar with out paying? What can they do? I've been chained up at Lake Mohave before for not getting out of the slip in time (before motel check out time or whatever) and they made me pay a few hundred bucks to have them unlock it. However what can they do here? Ive gone to Moabi several times and not paid. Usually because I beach, the ranger never comes up and I leave before ever seeing one. Ive never received a ticket or been hassled. And if they show up I'll pay them because its a county park, not a private business that is benefiting from me already spending money there.

Is the visitor section still there for the bar, or did they put the signs all the way around the Bar?
    OOOOPS..

So apparently this is all my fault

I'll call the Nautical today and apologize for hanging with my Brother on the Beach (he WAS a paying customer). I'm sure they'll take all the signs down once they hear the sincerity in my voice....NOT!!
I'd agree with you, but then we would both be wrong

I, just like several of you enjoy the location and visit there often! I WILL NOT be paying anyone to park my boat on a beach when I am coming to spend money on dinner/ drinks with the guests on my boat!

This raises concern and got my attention almost immediately as I have a couple of events coming up at the Nautical. Some of the guests from one of the events told me they were being charged for "reserved parking" in the cove. This, however was not in my contract, so any charges will be removed for these guests as these new changes were made after my contract with them was already done.

With a follow up call today, I asked the questions directly about the new signs and new charges for hotel guests and visitors of the the turtle.

Here is what I was told,
There are new signs posted. Parking for non-resort guests is $10, with a 2 hour limit. A voucher for $10 is given to the guest and can be used at the store, and the Turtle for food/drink...
Resort guests have the option to reserve a spot for a fee.

On a side bar note... there has been a new GM and lots of changes over the last 6 weeks at the Nautical Resort and the Turtle Bar.

Hope this helps set some at ease.

PB member says $50, a RD member says $20.... Throttle's deal is $10
That doesn't surprise me one bit that you didn't read the sign you park your Fire truck any where you want.

They don't just want people hanging out all day and not spending money. If your going there to spend money this isn't a big deal at all I have always thought they should have assigned parking for guests so you don't have people leaving their boats there over night that aren't even guests, but I'm not going to pay $50 a day on top of the room rate. Their rooms aren't even nice to charge what they do. If this is going to be the deal, I'll just rent a room somewhere nicer and pay less and leave my boat in the marina
There trying to Recoup there money they spent building there pool and bar

any idea the amount of money we collected? We parked them all before sunrise and were home by 7:00 in the morning.

Sure the guy worked for the nautical?
I knew I would find you punks one of these days
