Default Good Lord, dude accusing Wal-Mart of "slavery"

This guy on Cuvato is off the hook.
I see that a DC Wal-Mart is being delayed because these protesters are accusing them of slave driving.

This guy and his "Kangaroo Court" (as Cuvato describes it) is costing 1800 jobs in the DC area.
He says that if they were union, and paying union wages he would have no complaint.
    My opinion? What a Jackass.

Cuvato just asked him: "What about a sample of the local unemployed people that 1800 possible jobs are blocked because of this, did You ask them?"

No link, just see it on TV. Going to town, check in later.

BTW, My step son just got hired at the local Wal-Mart as night stocker. $9.25 an hour to start.

He could not be happier for the opportunity. (And I am glad too!)

As a guy with 2 step kids working at Subway and K-MArt (anything for a job ) I couldnt agree with you more.

Does this guy have delusions about getting rich working for Wal Mart?

The Piss Ant will protect his union dues job at any cost including screwing the 1800 or so workers in DC that would like to have the dignity that comes with working for a living. The puke on TV is exactly what the majority of unions have turned into.

He was worse than a union worker.
He was some sort of community activist.
Heaven forbid he allow 1800 people in his own community the chance to remove themselves from the Gov teat.

They did the same thing in new York. Then they complained about the jobs not materializing.

This is not unusual. Wal-mart gets sued by the teamsters EVERYTIME they build a new store.

Isn't it interesting how union workers often chide the right to work environment like Havasu 1986 does over and over as if employment is not voluntary? If you want to work union - go do it. If not, it's your choice.

The unions are trying to take "choice" out of the picture so they can "impose" their ways on the entire work force. From the growth in Asia being done by American owned companies these days, I'd say it's not working well at all. For a century the union members have gone on strike to press their mandates on the companies. Now they simply achieve company closure and secure another offshore move. Not a good long-term strategy. Too bad they can't see it.
