Default HAHAHA the comedy of news.

So this makes me laugh. They are portraying that Whole foods is taking such a big risk by opening a store in Detroit! Does anyone else find this hilarious? Last time I was in whole foods 2/3rds of the clientele paid by EBT here in the AV. I bet Detroit will be around 85%. Guaranteed income and success for sure on the backs of taxpayers.

Hey zombie, you're against coorporations running the nation and taking advantage of the government spending/programs. How do you justify these big corporations taking advantage of the EBT program? At one hand, you have the option of letting them starve in the streets which you say is not what civil societies do. (This is something I'm for and if they get caught stealing they can go to an outside jail where they have to farm the land with the other inmates or they starve and die.) On the other hand you have the big food corporations taking advantage of the need to feed 50 million people on the backs of tax payers. How do you justify this to yourself?

Trying to cater to inner city EBT card grocery buyers with quality and healthy foods doesn't sound too promising to me. Maybe they scored a big tax incentive to locate there ???

    So it's all YOUR fault!

Z has remarked on the ag subsidies which do exactly that. They are also tied into student lunches and foreign policies on ag trade.

Yes, and when Obamacare comes in, we'll see veggies subsidized more, and Twinkies taxed more. People will have no idea how much a loaf of bread actually costs. It'll be just like when I ask my dr. how much something costs, he shrugs, and says, "I dunno."
